Al-Aqsa, Baitul Maqdis, Islamicjerusalem

Hudson (1990) states that: “to Jews and Zionists the city was both religious and a national symbol”. For Christian, the region was, among others, the birthplace of Jesus, and where the Church of Holy Sepulchre is situated. For Muslims, the region has much importance and religious significance since, among others, the region was the first Qiblah, as well as the land where many prophets had visited, lived, were born or died, including the visit by Prophet Muhammad during the miraculous Night Journey and Ascension.

There are many more significances of Islamicjerusalem to Muslims. Al-Qaradawi, al-Kaylani, Abu Halabiah, El-Awaisi, Karen Armstrong, Asali and many others mentioned about the sanctity and the importance of Islamicjerusalem, not only for the physical aspects but spritual too. Nevertheless, many of orientalist with Israeli bias and those who study from outside Muslims framework, deny that Islamicjerusalem is important in Islam. One of their arguments was that Quran does not mention about the word 'Jerusalem' at all, so this according to them against the notion that it plays an important part in Muslims believe.

How to answer this?

huhhh ... hardddd
