Integriti Polis, BPR dan KDN

Bertambah satu lagi masalah yang melanda Polis-BPR-KDN dalam menjalankan tugas. Kalau sebelum ini melibatkan Timb Menteri KDN tak puas hati dengan polis dan BPR, kini giliran Pengarah JSJK Bukit Aman pula meluahkan perasaan.

Masalah dalaman ini nampaknya berkisar dalam badan-badan yang duduk di bawah satu bumbung, satu kementerian yang dipimpin oleh PM. Sudah tentu PM -malah rakyat biasa pun- tidak gembira dengan perkembangan terbaru ini.

Di mana silapnya? BPR atau Polis?

Penting untuk sesebuah kerajaan menjaga intergriti badan-badan ini..

How Do You Exist

"Young people, university students, and ordinary people have many questions about the phenomenon of Israel. I am sure you are familiar with some of them.

Throughout history, many countries have been occupied, but I think the establishment of a new country with a new people, is a new phenomenon that is exclusive to our times.
Students are saying that 60 years ago such a country did not exist. They show old documents and globes and say try as we have, we have not been able to find a country named Israel.

I tell them to study the history of WW I and II. One of my students told me that during WWII, which more than tens of millions of people perished in, news about the war, was quickly disseminated by the warring parties. Each touted their victories and the most recent battlefront defeat of the other party. After the war they claimed that six million Jews had been killed. Six million people that were surely related to at least two million families. Again let us assume that these events are true. Does that logically translate into the establishment of the state of Israel in the Middle East or support for such a state? How can this phenomenon be rationalized or explained?" read here

Palestine-Israel: 2 States Solution?

Two states solution to resolve the conflict in Middle East is not a new idea. It was suggested long time ago, basically to create a state for Palestinians along with the Israeli state which already been declared its existence and been supported by world superpower namely UK, US and Russia, just to name a few.

Is this solution fair to Palestinians which includes arabs Muslims and Christians? I don't know. On paper, I don't think it's fair at all, given the fact that Israeli state occupies large area of the land, compare to Palestinians who will only get East Jerusalem and Gaza.

For me, I would like to see more discussion at international level on how the state of Israel has been established, and how in a very short period of time Israeli state got support from world superpower.

What's the historical background of that area?
